Do you have a store front?
No. We operate as an Internet bakery. During late nights and early mornings, we bake in a license facility kitchen. Aundrea owns the business not the bakery.

Do you use preservatives?
No. Your brownies will last 3-5 days. For long term storage, your brownies will stay fresh up to five days. Do not refrigerate. For long term storage, your heart-shaped wonders can be frozen up to six months. For optimal taste, microwave 5-10 seconds.

How much does Fed Ex Overnight or Fed Ex Two Day cost?
Unfortunately we aren't able to give you a quote for shipping until we know the ship to address. Fed Ex charges different charges for different zip codes. Fed Ex does not ship to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

Once we have the ship to address we can provide you a quote on the shipping charges.

Do you offer delivery service in the San Francisco Bay Area?
Yes. We deliver in the San Jose for $7.00. Outside of San Jose the price will be quoted. We do not offer same day delivery.

Have you received any awards for your brownies?
Yes. In 1994 & 1995 International Hospitality Convention we won the “Best Sweet – People’s Choice” award.

I am allergic to nuts, is it ok to purchase the brownies without nuts?
All of our dough comes in contact with nuts or nut oils. If you are allergic to nuts, we recommend you do not consume our products.

What has been Luv’s Brownies biggest accomplishment (s)?
Being featured on the cover of Black Enterprise magazine November 2006/acknowledged by Chairman & Publisher Earl Graves Sr. and being featured in Every Day with Rachael Ray and obtaining a quote from her “ Some of the best brownies I have ever tasted.”

Our order process:

I ordered Aundrea’s book Brownie Points. Will it be shipped Fed Ex?
Books are shipped via United States postal mail. Once you place your order, your book will be signed by Aundrea and shipped within a week. The normal delivery time is 3-7 days.

My order did not include shipping charges. When will you add on the shipping charges?
Once we have processed your order the YAHOO order system will be updated with your shipping charges. Unfortunately we aren't able to give you a quote for shipping until we know the ship to address. Fed Ex charges different charges for different zip codes.

What forms of payment do you accept?
Visa and Mastercard

Will you use my Fed Ex account number?
Yes. Please add your Fed Ex account number is the gift card area. Someone from Luv’s Brownies will call you to confirm the details of your order.

When will my order ship?
Fed Ex Overnight service is offered on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.

Fed Ex Two Day service is offered on Monday for Wednesday delivery; Tuesday for Thursday delivery or Wednesday for Friday delivery.

We do not ship brownies on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays.

For example, if you place your order at 1:00pm PST on Thursday, your order will be processed on Friday and ship it out on Monday via the delivery method you choose.

What if my brownie package doesn’t arrive? Will you send me the Fed Ex tracking number?
When you place your order, you will be sent a confirmation email. In that email is a link to your order status. Your order status includes, your Fed Ex tracking number, the cost charged to your credit card and order confirmation.

Once your package is shipped Fed Ex sends a confirmation email with detailed tracking information.

To ensure delivery, please double check the delivery address. If the shipping address is incorrect, we will be more than happy to ship it again for an additional charge. If we make a mistake on a shipping label, we will reship your order free of charge.

Where did Aundrea go to school?
San Jose State University San Jose, California BS in Journalism/Public Relations and minor in Marketing - Golden Gate University San Francisco, California Master’s Business Administration.

What have been some of your challenges?
Dealing with Dyslexia has been one of Aundrea’s biggest challenges.

Where did Aundrea come up with the name of her company Luv’s Brownies?
She named her company after her childhood doll named “Luv”.

How did Aundrea come up with the brownie recipe?
During Aundrea’s graduating semester at San Jose State University her counselor realized she failed the same math class five times. A few weeks later, Aundrea was tested for Dyslexia. This is when she realized she had been transposing numbers without knowing she had a learning disability. So, she transposed the brownie recipe by accident.

Has San Jose State University acknowledged Aundrea for her accomplishments?
Yes. In 1993 she was awarded Outstanding Academic Achievement Award and in 2005 she received an Outstanding Alumni Award.

How can I learn how to start my own business?
Aundrea has written two books that describe how to start your own business.

Her first book Luv Story from Homemade Brownies to My Own Internet Bakery was self published.

Her second book Brownie Points Seven Steps to Success for Women Entrepreneurs explains there isn’t a perfect time to do something (start a business or go back to school). We will always have our challenges. Because of those challenges don’t let anything or anyone stop you from making your dreams a reality.
